For millions of fans across the world, AboFlah has become one of the defining faces of the digital creator economy. With more than 50 million YouTube subscribers, billions of video views and record-breaking livestreams, the Kuwaiti content creator has built a career by spending much of his life online.

Yet despite turning streaming into a global success story, AboFlah says he hopes his future children will experience a very different upbringing that is largely offline.

In a recent interview with WIRED Middle East, the YouTube star, whose real name is Hassan Suleiman, reflected on the pressures of life as a digital creator and revealed that while the internet transformed his own life, he believes children today need stronger boundaries with technology.

"I want my kids to live offline," he said, explaining that although social media has opened extraordinary opportunities for creators, it has also exposed young people to constant distraction, comparison and unhealthy online habits. He stressed that parents should play a more active role in managing how and when children use digital platforms.

AboFlah's comments carry particular weight because few creators have benefited from the internet as much as he has. Since launching his YouTube channel in 2016, he has grown into one of the Arab world's most influential online personalities, producing gaming videos, entertainment content and livestreams that attract millions of viewers across the Middle East and beyond. His philanthropic work has also earned international recognition, including a record-breaking charity livestream that raised more than $11 million for refugee relief and secured two Guinness World Records.

Beyond content creation, AboFlah has expanded into entrepreneurship through his creator-focused company 8Flamez and is developing an animated television character named Slayman in partnership with regional animation studio Spacetoon. The projects reflect his ambition to build a lasting entertainment business beyond YouTube while continuing to support charitable initiatives.

Despite his enormous online success, AboFlah insists that fame has never been his primary motivation. He recalled spending four years creating content without earning an income, driven instead by a genuine passion for entertaining audiences. That perseverance, he says, remains one of the most important lessons for aspiring creators looking to build sustainable careers in the digital economy.

His reflections come at a time when conversations about children's screen time and digital well-being are becoming increasingly prominent around the world. Governments, educators and technology companies continue to debate how social media should be regulated for younger users, while many parents are searching for healthier ways to balance digital learning with offline experiences.

For millions of aspiring creators, AboFlah's journey remains a powerful example of how online platforms can create global opportunities. At the same time, his latest comments offer a reminder that even those who have achieved extraordinary success through technology recognise the importance of disconnecting from it.

For readers of FollowGlobalTrends.com, the story goes beyond one influencer's personal choice. It highlights a growing conversation within the technology industry about finding balance in an always-connected world, where success online no longer means life must be lived entirely on a screen.
