Dubai’s Global Village Returns October 14 With AED 25 Tickets and New Attractions

Dubai’s Global Village has announced its admission prices for the upcoming season, with visitors set to pay AED 25 on weekdays and AED 30 on weekends and public holidays when the popular multicultural attraction opens its gates on October 14.

The announcement comes less than a week before the start of Season 31, which will welcome visitors from 6pm on Wednesday, October 14. Tickets will be available through the Global Village website and mobile app, as well as at the gates from opening day.

After opening night, the park will operate from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, while Thursday to Saturday and public holidays will run until 1am. Tuesdays, except when they fall on public holidays, are reserved for families, couples and ladies.

The new season will run until May 2027 under the theme “A More Wonderful World”, continuing Global Village’s role as one of Dubai’s major seasonal attractions for residents and international visitors. Dubai’s Media Office said the destination has welcomed millions of guests from the UAE and around the world since it began in 1997.

Season 31 is also bringing a larger mix of cultural, entertainment and family experiences. The attraction will feature 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, alongside more than 3,500 shopping outlets. Several pavilions have been refreshed, including Sri Lanka and the joint Russia and Azerbaijan pavilion, while Syria and Kuwait return with redesigned façades.

Food remains another major part of the experience, with more than 250 dining options planned across the venue. New additions include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, as well as Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking at Restaurant Plaza. Three new cafés — Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café — are also joining the lineup.

For visitors looking for entertainment, Carnaval will return with more than 200 rides and games, while a new roller coaster called Tokyo Rush is scheduled to launch later in the season. The ride will feature sharp turns and a loop, although organizers have not yet announced its opening date. Existing attractions including The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City will also return.

The entertainment programme is being expanded as well. New productions include “Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back,” alongside two new anchor shows, “Bollywood Idol” and “Bank Heist.” The former follows two brothers pursuing very different ambitions through music and dance, while the latter combines a crime-inspired storyline with acrobatic performances. The popular “Slam” show is also returning.

Families will have additional features to explore this season. Global Village has introduced a redesigned Season 31 Passport, with stamping stations in each of its 29 pavilions, as well as a separate Kids Passport designed to give younger visitors their own interactive way to explore the destination.

The park is also making several operational changes aimed at improving the visitor experience. Additional ticket counters are being introduced at Happiness Gate, parking signage is being expanded, and VIP parking users will have access to new self-service payment machines. A WhatsApp chatbot is also being introduced to help visitors obtain information while inside the attraction.

The return of Global Village comes at an important point in Dubai’s annual tourism calendar, when the cooler months bring a surge in outdoor activity and international visitors. The attraction has grown considerably from its early days after launching in 1997, when it operated as a collection of small cultural kiosks near Dubai Creek. It has since developed into a large-scale destination combining shopping, food, entertainment and cultural representation.

Its previous season also demonstrated the scale of the attraction. Global Village’s Season 29 drew more than 10.5 million visitors, according to Dubai’s Media Office, underscoring its importance within Dubai’s broader tourism and entertainment offering.

For tourists planning a Dubai visit, the AED 25 weekday admission price keeps the basic entry cost relatively accessible, while the AED 30 weekend and public-holiday rate reflects the higher-demand periods. Visitors should also remember that rides, games and some attractions are charged separately, meaning the total cost of a family visit can rise significantly beyond the entrance ticket.

The reopening is therefore about more than the return of a seasonal attraction. Global Village has become part of Dubai’s strategy of turning cultural diversity, entertainment and international tourism into a single visitor experience. With Season 31 adding new rides, shows, dining concepts and family features while keeping basic admission at AED 25 on weekdays, Dubai is positioning one of its most recognizable attractions to draw another large mix of residents and tourists through the winter and spring tourism season.
