NDC to Inaugurate Campaign Council and Open Abuja Secretariat Monday

Ahead of pivotal general election preparations, the NDC to inaugurate campaign council decision anchors a high-priority three-part schedule taking place across the Federal Capital Territory on Monday.

The party announced the timeline through an official statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, setting out a tight single-day itinerary for party leaders, standard-bearers, and executive members.

Party officials described the programme as a critical operational milestone designed to consolidate nationwide grassroots machinery and present a unified front.

High-Level NEC Meeting to Open Activities Activities begin in the morning with an executive meeting of the National Executive Committee at the JD Vance Centre, located opposite A-Class Park along Kashim Ibrahim Way in Maitama, Abuja.

The party noted that admission to the morning strategy session remains strictly by invitation and restricted to certified NEC members.

The executive gathering will evaluate internal preparedness, review strategic frameworks, and finalize logistical alignments ahead of the public ceremonies scheduled later in the afternoon.

Commissioning of New National Secretariat in Jabi Following the executive deliberations, party leadership will move to Jabi, Abuja, for the official commissioning of its newly acquired national secretariat.

The acquisition of a dedicated permanent headquarters marks a significant infrastructure transition for the political party. Officials emphasized that the modern complex will serve as the central coordination hub for administrative functions, campaign strategy rooms, and research teams.

Party organizers noted that establishing an expanded administrative base provides essential operational stability as national electioneering intensifies.

Evening Campaign Council Inauguration and Candidate Presentation The third leg of the programme begins in the evening with the formal inauguration of the National Campaign Council, followed by the presentation of Certificates of Return to confirmed candidates.

Participation in the campaign council inauguration is restricted to members of the National Working Committee, the presidential candidate and running mate, governorship candidates, and National Assembly nominees.

The formal presentations will conclude with an official dinner bringing together party leaders, donors, and standard-bearers.

In its statement, the party expressed appreciation to members nationwide for their continued loyalty and reiterated its campaign commitment to national renewal, declaring that collective action will drive political progress.
