Teen Killed Parents as Part of Trump Assassination Plot, Says FBI

A 17-year-old high school student from Wisconsin is accused of murdering his parents as part of a broader plot to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump, according to the FBI.

Nikita Casap has been charged with killing his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51. The couple was found dead in their Waukesha home, near Milwaukee, on 28 February.

Court documents recently unsealed reveal disturbing details of the case. A search warrant alleges Casap’s phone contained materials linked to a neo-Nazi group known as the Order of Nine Angles, along with content praising Adolf Hitler. Investigators also found antisemitic writings in which the teen allegedly detailed plans to assassinate President Trump as part of a broader plan to overthrow the U.S. government.

Casap is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide, along with seven other felony counts, including hiding a corpse and identity theft.

Shocking Discovery

The victims were discovered after local authorities visited their home, prompted by Casap’s unexplained absence from school for two weeks.

According to a criminal complaint, Mr. Mayer died from a gunshot wound to the head, while Ms. Casap suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities estimate the murders occurred around 11 February.

On the same day their bodies were found, Casap was stopped by police in Kansas, hundreds of miles from Wisconsin. He was driving Mr. Mayer’s 2018 Volkswagen Atlas, according to investigators.

Inside the vehicle, officers found a Smith & Wesson .357 pistol, four credit cards belonging to the victims, several pieces of valuable jewelry, a pried-open safe, and $14,000 in cash—most of it hidden inside a Bible.

Radical Beliefs and Plotted Attack

Investigators say Casap’s writings expressed white supremacist views and called for President Trump’s assassination as the trigger for a “political revolution.”

“The alleged double murder appeared to be an effort to obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary to carrying out his plan,” the search warrant stated.

Court documents further allege that Casap was in communication with individuals in Russia regarding the murder of his parents. He had also reportedly purchased a drone and explosives for a future attack and made plans to flee to Ukraine.

“He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the president and overthrow the government of the United States,” investigators wrote.

Legal Proceedings Underway

Casap appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on 9 April but has not yet entered a plea. His arraignment—where formal charges will be read—is scheduled for 7 May in Waukesha County Court.

He is currently being held on a $1 million bond.
