A resilient and compassionate lady known as Vanessa Osarumwense-Iyen, regardless of her disabilities, has extended a helping hand to the less privileged people in Benin, the heart of Edo State.
Vanessa made it known to South-South Punch that her motivation comes from a desire to support those facing hardships in our society.
In her own words, “I was moved by the current poor economic situation to feed about 500 poor Nigerians from my meager resources in the streets of Benin.”
“My passion and vision are to reach out to the downtrodden in society who lack food. I understand the impact of hunger on the mind and dignity of a person, having experienced hunger, rejection, and loneliness firsthand in the past.”
As a humanitarian, mother, counselor, and social media influencer, Vanessa is devoted to making a positive impact.
According to her, “I vow to continue supporting the less fortunate, particularly neglected sickle-cell anemia victims, through my platform, the Rosa-Diamond Foundation.”
Vanessa begged kind-hearted individuals, both within Nigeria and abroad, to join hands in assisting the poor. She further highlighted the limited support by the government for the poor and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in making a difference.
