Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, has addressed recent criticisms questioning his musical talent and reignited discussions about the breakup of the iconic Nigerian music duo, P-Square.

Blaming Fans for P-Square’s Breakup

During the same event, Peter opened up about the reasons behind P-Square’s disbandment. He attributed the split to fans’ behavior, stating that constant comparisons between him and his twin brother, Paul (Rudeboy), led to tension and ego issues. He explained:

“Fans are the reasons P-Square no dey together today. Two brothers dey do one thing, ona dey talk say one better pass one, e con enter one head, he begin misbehave.

Peter’s comments suggest that the favoritism shown by fans towards one brother over the other contributed to the group’s disbandment.

Peter’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions online. While some fans support his perspective, others believe that the issues within P-Square were more complex and not solely attributable to fan behavior.
