Popular Nigerian rapper Olamide has warmed hearts with a generous gesture, gifting the daughter of Nollywood actress Sotayo Gaga a customised Benz as she celebrates her six-month milestone.
The actress, whose real name is Tayo Sobola, took to her Instagram to share the exciting news with her followers. In a series of videos, she showcased the luxurious gift and captured a sweet moment of Olamide meeting her baby girl for the first time.
In her caption, Sotayo expressed her deep appreciation to the rapper for the thoughtful present, humorously noting that all that’s left now is to get a driver.
“Alhamdulilah, mini-me is officially 6 months today.
Uncle Ola, thank you for the customised BENZO!! E remain driver @olamide,” she wrote.
The heartfelt post was accompanied by a clip of the sparkling Benz and another video showing Olamide interacting with the adorable celebrant.
Back in November, Kemi Filani reported that Sotayo had welcomed her first child. The actress confirmed the news by posting a video flaunting her baby bump with the caption “Mood.” Soon after, photos of her cradling her newborn began circulating online, sparking waves of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues alike.
In December, Sotayo gave fans a glimpse of her new life as a mother, sharing a touching video where she lovingly held her baby girl to usher in the new month. Sotayo Gaga has kept much of her private life away from public eyes. She secretly tied the knot in March 2021 and has never revealed the identity of her husband. However, her subsequent chieftaincy titles in Nasarawa State led to speculations that her spouse might be a prominent figure from the region.
Rumors once linked her to a northern monarch, with Instagram blogger Gistlover alleging that Sotayo left her longtime boyfriend, AY, for her current partner. In response, the actress addressed the rumors directly, asking the blogger to “leave them alone.”
In a separate incident in 2022, Sotayo also laughed off reports that three alleged lovers clashed at her birthday celebration. She playfully dismissed the rumors by responding with laughing emojis in the comment section of the post.
With her baby girl hitting six months and receiving such a high-profile gift, it’s clear Sotayo Gaga is enjoying both motherhood and the love that surrounds her growing family.
