Mrs. Olorunda Precious, mother of three-year-old Jeremiah Simeon, is desperately seeking financial assistance for her son’s urgent heart surgery. Jeremiah has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a severe heart defect, and requires immediate surgery to save his life.

Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF): Understanding the Condition

According to experts at the Mayo Clinic, TOF is a rare congenital heart defect that involves four structural problems in the heart. This condition severely impacts blood flow through the heart and affects oxygen supply to the rest of the body. Children with TOF often have bluish or grey skin due to low oxygen levels, and they frequently experience episodes of breathlessness.

Jeremiah was referred to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital after a series of troubling symptoms, including frequent squatting and bluish discolouration of his skin. Medical investigations revealed that these symptoms were caused by TOF, and now, Jeremiah’s survival depends on an urgent corrective surgery.
