Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, has expressed concerns after receiving a petition and an invitation from the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos. Aloba revealed in a video that he has been asked to appear at the station at 10 am tomorrow.
Concerns About Safety
Aloba is apprehensive about the reason for the police invitation. He speculated that it might be an attempt to silence or detain him, drawing a parallel to his son’s tragic death. “Do they want to kill me like they killed Mohbad?” he questioned in the video.
Seeking DNA Test and Justice
Aloba remains steadfast in his quest for answers regarding his son’s death. He is particularly focused on obtaining a DNA test for his grandson, Liam, to confirm his paternity. Aloba believes that the request for a DNA test might have been a factor in Mohbad’s death. “I still insist that DNA was the reason why they killed my son,” he stated.
Appeal to the Public
In his video, Aloba made an emotional appeal to the public for support. “Nigerians help me,” he implored, underscoring his determination to uncover the truth about Mohbad’s death and secure justice for his family.
