A woman and her three kids were kidnapped on Sunday, December 10, in the Zone 5 area of Kubuwa Extension 2 Relocation Estate in the Federal Capital Territory.

A resident, who chose to remain anonymous, told Punch correspondence that kidnapping has become a tradition in the community, especially during December.
According to him, “Kidnappings have sadly become a routine in this area during December. Recalling last December’s incident, as reported by The Punch, and now this latest abduction is truly worrisome.”
Highlighting the terrible lack of security measures, another resident emphasized, “This kidnapping is a direct result of the inadequate security in the area. Last night, an entire family fell victim—a mother and her three children, including a six-month-old baby, right here in Zone 5, Kubwa Extension 2 Relocation Estate.”
SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, assured Punch correspondence that she would look into the incident. “I will investigate and give you information as soon as possible, please.” She stated
