Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has tied the knot with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in a stunning series of multicultural wedding ceremonies that have captured attention across Nigeria and Tanzania.
The wedding festivities began in early February 2025 with a traditional Islamic Nikkah ceremony in Tanzania. During the intimate event, Priscilla, who now goes by the name Hadiza Mkambala, and Juma Jux exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends. Priscilla looked radiant in a gold-embroidered gown and turban, while Juma wore a traditional jalabia. The celebration was graced by prominent personalities, including Nigerian influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa and Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
Following the Nikkah, the couple formalized their union at a civil ceremony held at a Tanzanian registry on February 13, 2025. Nigerian celebrities such as Toyin Abraham and Enioluwa were in attendance to celebrate the couple. Iyabo Ojo expressed her joy on social media, writing, “One done and dusted, four to go,” hinting at more events to come.
The celebrations are set to continue with traditional and white wedding ceremonies in Nigeria in April, followed by a lavish grand finale party in Tanzania in May.
The couple’s love story and wedding have been widely celebrated, with numerous Nollywood stars and fans extending their heartfelt congratulations. This union not only signifies the love shared between Priscilla and Juma but also represents a beautiful fusion of Nigerian and Tanzanian cultures — a significant milestone in African celebrity weddings.
