Former ‘General Hospital’ Star Johnny Wactor Fatally Shot in Los Angeles Robbery

Johnny Wactor, known for his role on the soap opera “General Hospital,” was fatally shot during a suspected robbery in Los Angeles. The incident occurred as he was leaving his part-time job at a rooftop bar.

Details of the Incident

The 37-year-old actor was with a female colleague around 3:25 a.m. on Saturday near West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street. Wactor encountered three masked men, mistakenly believing his vehicle was being towed. One of the men shot Wactor before fleeing in a separate vehicle.

Paramedics arrived at the scene around 3 a.m. and transported Johnny Wactor to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Career and Background

Born in 1986 in Charleston, South Carolina, Johnny Wactor began his television career with a role in the Lifetime drama series “Army Wives.” He later made guest appearances on various shows, including “Westworld,” “The OA,” and “Criminal Minds.” Wactor appeared in 164 episodes of “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022.
