D’Banj Drops Fifth Studio Album, “The Entertainer – D’Sequel”

Nigerian global music icon Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, has released his highly anticipated fifth studio album titled “The Entertainer – D’Sequel.” This album marks a significant milestone in D’Banj’s illustrious career, following up on his 2008 groundbreaking album, “The Entertainer.”

A Fusion of Afrobeats and Global Sounds

“The Entertainer – D’Sequel” is a creative fusion of Afrobeats and Afropop, featuring eleven tracks and two bonus songs. The album boasts an impressive lineup of international collaborations, including Grammy award winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese music legend Awilo Longomba, Senegalese superstar Youssou N’Dour, American hitmaker Akon, and South African sensation Chechi Sarai, a standout from NBC’s The Voice.

In addition to the global stars, D’Banj brings together some of Nigeria’s finest musicians, such as Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee.
