Brazil's Vice President Visits Nigeria for Strategic Dialogue

Welcoming Delegation

Upon arrival at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the Brazilian delegation was warmly received by Nigerian officials, including Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole; Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Maiha; and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari.

Senator Hadejia described the visit as “a pivotal moment in Nigeria’s renewed hope agenda,” emphasizing the strategic importance of deepening ties with Brazil. Signing of Agreements

The three-day summit is expected to culminate in the signing of over 30 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across critical sectors, including defense cooperation, agricultural technology transfer, energy collaboration, and cultural exchange programs.
