Back in 2021, a young Nigerian man with a first-class bachelor’s degree in botany from the University of Ibadan and also a master’s degree in plant genetics and molecular biology who shared a post on Twitter seeking a job finally obtained a fully funded scholarship as a PhD student at the University of Minnesota.
The young man appreciated everyone who reposted his job request and gave him advice and guidance that led to his recent achievement.
In a post he made on his Twitter, account now known as X he said, “I posted this approximately two years ago. Thanks to everyone that reposted. I also appreciate the advise and guidance I received from a lot of people. I’m happy to inform you all that I’m now a PhD student at the University of Minnesota, USA. Gracias!”
