Mukaila was apprehended by the Department of State Services (DSS) at his residence in Olodo, Ibadan, after being declared wanted by the police for alleged involvement in armed robbery, kidnapping, and murder cases.

Police Statement

Commissioner Adebola, while addressing the media at the state police command, announced that Mukaila would be charged in court. He emphasized the extensive efforts made by law enforcement agencies, including discreet intelligence-led searches, technology, collaborative efforts with sister services, and community policing, which led to the suspect’s arrest.

Recovered Exhibits

During the arrest, various exhibits were recovered from Mukaila’s possession at his Diamond Hotel residence in Alakia-Isebo Egbeda, under Egbeda Local Government Area.
