Lagos State Government Allocates N4 Billion for March Pension Payment

Providing updates on the government’s ongoing efforts, Akosile mentioned recent initiatives such as the Trader Money program and the disbursement of N1.1 billion in pension payments just two days ago. The government’s proactive approach underscores its dedication to mitigating the challenges faced by Nigerians, particularly Lagosians, during these challenging times.

Governor Sanwo-Olu took to his social media handle, @jidesanwoolu, to assure the public of the government’s commitment. He shared that N3.1 billion had already been disbursed to over 1,000 retirees, along with their monthly contributions to their Retirement Savings Accounts. This payment reaffirms the administration’s unwavering dedication to retirees’ welfare.

Looking ahead, Akosile confirmed that another substantial sum of N4 billion would be disbursed in March as part of Lagos State’s continuous leadership in pension benefits administration.
