Call for Presidential Intervention in Osun State

Meanwhile, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives in Osun State, urges President Bola Tinubu to establish a task force overseeing the distribution of recently released grains from the strategic reserve.

Ensuring Effective Distribution

Oyintiloye emphasized the need for a specialized task force to prevent diversion of the released grains, stating, “If the President wants poor Nigerians to feel the impact of the released grains, a special task force should be constituted to ensure effective distribution.” He cautioned against allowing the goodwill gesture to be exploited by private individuals.

As the Katsina State Government takes proactive measures to address food price concerns, attention to distribution processes at the national level is also being underscored to ensure equitable access to essential commodities.
