
Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, officially opened the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 today at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Held under the theme ‘Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity’, this year’s event is the largest in ATM’s history, featuring a record 2,800 exhibitors from 166 countries and expecting more than 55,000 attendees.
In his remarks, His Highness stated:
“Guided by the vision of our leadership, Dubai continues to consolidate its position as a leading global destination for tourism and a key meeting point for industry stakeholders. The longstanding success of Arabian Travel Market highlights Dubai’s pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships that drive the growth and advancement of the global tourism industry.”
His Highness emphasized the vital role of events and exhibitions in Dubai’s economic strategy, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position Dubai among the world’s top three cities for business and specialised tourism by 2033.
Following the opening ceremony, His Highness toured the exhibition halls, accompanied by:

- Increased Global Participation: International exhibitor presence has surged, with a 20% increase from Asia, 15% from the Middle East, and over 12% from Europe.
- Expansion of ATM Travel Tech: This sector has grown by more than 26%, underscoring the growing convergence of travel and technology.
- New Start-Up & Innovation Zone: Featuring 21 trailblazing companies and immersive VR experiences showcasing cutting-edge travel solutions.
- Launch of IBTM@ATM: A dedicated platform for the business events sector, offering pre-scheduled meetings, networking opportunities, and a new Business Events Stage.

ATM Conference Programme
The ATM 2025 Conference hosts over 200 speakers across 70+ sessions, addressing critical themes such as the future of aviation, climate action, AI in travel, and hospitality trends.

- Opening Day: Cassie Kozyrkov, CEO of Kozyr and former Google Chief Decision Scientist, leads a session on AI’s transformative role in travel.
- Day Two: The Ministerial Session brings together tourism ministers from Bahrain and Lebanon and the CEO of Trip.com to explore tourism through enhanced connectivity.
