In a significant move to combat human trafficking and reunite victims with their families, the Federal Government of Nigeria has received 231 trafficked Nigerian youths who were recently rescued in Ghana. The return of these individuals marks a major success in regional anti-human trafficking efforts and reflects growing cooperation between West African countries in addressing this critical issue.
The Rescue Operation in Ghana
The rescued youths were discovered in various locations across Ghana, where they were being held under conditions described as exploitative.
