Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has expressed heartfelt gratitude following a surprise bridal shower organized by her close friends ahead of her wedding.
Kemi Filani reported that the special event took place on Sunday night, just days before her wedding scheduled for Thursday. The star-studded celebration was graced by the presence of late Mohbad’s son Liam, her best friend Enioluwa, Mercy Aigbe’s daughter Michelle, Mercy Eke, Chioma Good Hair, Hilda Baci, Diane, and many more of Priscilla’s closest friends.
Taking to Instagram, Priscilla shared joyful moments from the shower in a video montage, alongside a touching appreciation message. She revealed that she was genuinely surprised by the gesture and felt overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and thoughtfulness.
“Yesterday was a heartfelt experience, and I just want to say a big thank you to my friends and family for the amazing surprise bridal shower. I was honestly shocked. Your love, effort, and thoughtfulness made the day truly unforgettable. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

A Celebration of Love
Just last month, Priscilla hosted a lavish bridesmaids soirée, treating her friends to a night of gourmet dishes, extravagant gifts, and a beautifully decorated hall. The event was another glimpse into the couple’s taste for elegance and heartfelt connection.
A week ago, Priscilla and her fiancé, Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, officially announced their traditional Yoruba wedding date: April 17th. The couple described their union as “two hearts united as one soul with the mission ‘forever’.”
They also released five stunning pre-wedding photos ahead of the big day, stirring excitement among fans and followers.
Back in February, the couple held their wedding introduction in Tanzania, attended only by close family and a select few from their inner circle. Days before Valentine’s Day, Juma Jux proposed to Priscilla for a second time — this time with a ring “twice the size” — affirming his deep love and commitment to her.
Following the proposal, the couple sealed their union with a civil wedding attended by notable personalities like Toyin Abraham, Chioma Good Hair, Enioluwa, and others.
