Nigerian businessman and nightlife promoter Pascal Chubuike, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has once again reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to Afrobeat superstar Davido.
Taking to his Instagram page, Cubana shared a heartfelt tribute alongside a photo of himself with the singer. In the post, he declared himself as Davido’s “billionaire bouncer” and promised to protect him for life.
Calling Davido his “treasure,” Cubana admitted that despite trying to “see him finish” (a Nigerian expression meaning to take someone lightly), he simply can’t. More than just being a close friend, he described himself as one of Davido’s biggest fans, crediting the singer’s music for keeping his spirit alive—even joking that he’s become a chart-topping “musician” himself because of it.

Cubana Chief Priest has long been known as a die-hard supporter of Davido. On the singer’s 32nd birthday last year, he made a public promise to stand by him for life, showering him with prayers and acknowledging the envy their bond inspires in others.
In October, he proudly celebrated being part of 30BG (30 Billion Gang) after a major milestone was achieved by Davido’s father, who launched a new power plant. Chief Priest expressed admiration for the family’s accomplishments, admitting they gave him sleepless nights out of sheer pride.
Back in July, Cubana went even further, declaring:
“I love you with every air I breathe.”
Though their friendship has had its rocky moments, particularly in 2023 when both men unfollowed each other on Instagram—leading fans to speculate about a fallout—they mended their relationship shortly after. By May 2023, Davido took to Cubana’s comment section with praise, calling him his in-law and acknowledging that his best friend “loves enjoyment.”
