The Lagos State Police Command has welcomed its 41st Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, who officially assumed office on February 18, 2025. He succeeds CP Olanrewaju Ishola, who has been redeployed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

In his inaugural address at the command headquarters in Ikeja, CP Jimoh pledged to bolster security measures across Lagos State. Hailing from Ilorin, Kwara State, CP Jimoh’s law enforcement journey began in 2000 when he joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police. His extensive career includes roles such as Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Criminal Investigation Department at the Airport Police Command, and Commissioner of Police at the Ports Authority Police, Eastern Ports, Port Harcourt. His diverse experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of security dynamics across different regions.

Under his leadership, the Lagos State Police Command aims to:
